OTC Brasil 2025 was held in Rio de Janeiro from October 28 to 30, 2025, at ExpoRio Cidade Nova, bringing together professionals, companies and institutions from the oil, gas and energy ecosystem.

Over three days, the conference and exhibition featured technical debates, panels and institutional content that highlighted trends in the sector's technological evolution, increased operational reliability and the developments of the energy transition.

The edition was organized by the Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute (IBP) in partnership with the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), reinforcing Brazil's presence on the circuit of international events dedicated to the offshore environment.

The program included daytime conferences and an exhibition open to professional visitors, according to guidelines published on the official channels.

The agenda combined high-level sessions, technical presentations and institutional content addressing the industry's main challenges: competitiveness, supply chain efficiency, standardization, technical qualification, regulatory compliance and innovation applied to operations. The presence of regulatory bodies and leading organizations also marked the edition, with content that helped attendees understand regulatory trends and initiatives to foster innovation.

Day 1: Opening and strategic guidelines

The first day set the tone for the week, highlighting Brazil's role in attracting investment and in conducting exploration and production projects.

The discussions emphasized the digitalization of operations, the use of data and R&D to gain reliability and the need for consistent technical documentation to support audits, certifications and inspections.

On the official channels, the energy transition appeared as a cross-cutting theme, with a focus on technological solutions, efficiency and integration of production chains.

In the exhibition area, visitors found suppliers and institutions with portfolios aligned with field realities, from topside to subsea, reinforcing the connection between technological development and operational requirements.

Day 2: Asset integrity, reliability and governance

The second day brought together technical sessions and institutional content with an emphasis on asset integrity and reliability, including approaches to maintenance, turnaround planning and document organization.

The public agenda of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) recorded participation in conference activities and at the agency's booth, highlighting topics of regulation, innovation and best practices.

This content reinforced the importance of clear technical standards, alignment with regulations and the strengthening of governance processes throughout the life cycle of offshore assets.

Day 3: Applied innovation and energy transition

The third day kept the focus on R&D and innovation geared toward practical results, with applications aimed at the short and medium term.

The discussions presented on the event's institutional channels reinforced the leading role of energy transitioninitiatives, including metrics and guidelines that help companies and professionals structure technology portfolios and roadmaps.

By bringing together conferences and an exhibition, OTC Brasil 2025 highlighted the interdependence between technical development, reliability, risk management and regulatory compliance, pointing to paths toward productivity and competitiveness gains.
