Data Sheet

Eccentric Butterfly Valves

The DENNIS NAKAKITA butterfly valves are assembled with various actuators that are responsible for operating the valves in their ¼ turn movement.

Remote Control System

Remotely operated valves (pneumatic or hydraulic) are typically integrated into the same package as the Operation and Control System. With its extensive experience in designing Remote Control Systems (RCS), DENNIS NAKAKITA is capable of supplying the complete package (Butterfly Valves + RCS + Console), but can also supply only a part of the system if necessary.

Emergency Manual Actuator

The manual emergency control for the hydraulic or pneumatic actuator is an optional element that allows the valve to be operated manually in case of an anomaly in the actuator cylinder or lack of motor fluid that prevents its operation.

This will be coupled to the actuator housing in the position opposite the cylinder and on the same geometric axis, forming a unit.

The manual emergency control is built in two distinct forms, depending on the operating torque and the valve diameter or series.

Signaling

The local position indication of the valve is achieved through a stainless steel plate, directly connected to the actuator housing, in order to provide the valve position by interpreting the position of the shaft connected to the disc; marked by an arrow.

Manual Pumps for Emergency Operations

FIXED
Hydraulic manual pumps are typically mounted on critical valve series, such as Sea Chest Valves or Fore Peak Tank Valves.

PORTABLE
Portable hydraulic manual pumps are used for manual operation of hydraulic pressure replacement in case of emergency, acting on the solenoid rack or directly at the valve location.
